This training program “Basics on Robotics” gives fundamental knowledge about the technology of robotics. Furthermore this training program serves as a basis for working with robots.

Step by step, some examples and tutorials, will help to get familiar with following subjects:

  • Robotics - what is that?
  • The history of industrial robots.
  • What is a robot and what are the components?
  • What are coordinate systems and what are they good for?
  • How to control and program a robot?

 

 

This learning tool is developed in the context of SMErobotTM The European Robotic Initiative for Strengtheness the Competitiveness of small and medium-sized Enterprises in Manufacturing.

This project is an integrated project within the European 6th framework programme.
