Operating modes of robot controlling

Robot controls usually have 3 groupes of operating modes:

  • Set up operation
    The set up operation is used for programming and to move the robot by manual commands, e.g. operating the robot after a malfunction.
  • Test operation
    In the test operation it is possible to check the programs or program parts in single steps or in a mode similar to the automatic drive.
  • Automatic operation
    The automatic operation is only used for production process applications. In this mode all programs run with original speed and all the functions.
